当シンポジウムにおける使用言語は日本語です。簡単な日本語の文章が理解でき、かつ日常会話に支障が無ければ問題ありません。

国際学生シンポジウムとは？
日本人大学生運営による日本最大規模のディスカッションイベントです。 毎年12月に開催され、200人以上の大学生、社会人、留学生の方々が参加されています。 今年で29回目となる長い歴史を持つイベントです。
当シンポジウムは2泊3日、10程の分科会というグループに分かれて、それぞれのトピックにあった問題について ４つのディスカッション（討論）を行います。そのほかにも、各分野で活躍なさっている著名な講師をお招きし、 講演会を行います。過去には、緒方貞子氏、金子勝氏、佐々木毅氏、猪口孝氏、加藤秀樹氏、北岡伸一氏、藤原帰一氏 など、多数の講師の方々に来ていただいています。また、レセプションパーティーなど、参加者同士の交流を深めるため のイベントも用意しております。
国際学生シンポジウムは、留学生を歓迎します！
多くの国際問題について討論を行う当シンポジウムでは、留学生という海外からの視点を歓迎しています。国際社会 における様々な問題について、様々な価値観、バックグランドを持った留学生の意見を聞けることを、楽しみにしています。

Qualification
- ・Foreign national or students who have experiences living abroad.
- ・Undergraduates and graduate students. (Including auditing students)
Language Skill
All lectures and discussions will be held in Japanese but students from abroad with working-level knowledge of Japanese will be truly welcome to provide diversity and multi-cultural input.
Participation fee
5,000 yen
What is “the International Symposium for Students”?
It is the biggest discussion event organized by university students in Japan held every year in December with the participation of more than 200 students from all over Japan with a long history. This year will be 29th meeting.
This symposium will be a 3 day event where students will be divided into 10 or more groups to discuss various current topics in 4 discussion sessions. Lectures will be also be given by prominent speakers who are leading their respective field. The list of distinguished speakers from past meetings includes Sadako Ogata, Takashi Inoguchi, Kiichi Fujiwara. Social functions will also be held as a part of the program to promote exghange.
